Date One: Katara
It was just a night out in Ba Sing Se, joining a celebration that thousands of other people could say they had experienced.
But to Aang, his first date with Katara was pure magic.
They had headed for the Lower Ring; the rest of their friends were touring the Upper Ring that night, and Katara had already gotten her fill of "oogie" for the week from Sokka. Down amidst the people so often ignored by their rulers, the celebrations for the announcement of the Harmony Restoration Movement had been met with enthusiasm bordering on a festival. Lanterns were swung from poles and people danced in the street. Aang and Katara ran through the crowds, yellow robes and green dress swirling and snapping. They got caught in a parade on one street and marched along for a neighborhood tour, and stumbled into a group dance on another street and spent an hour clapping and stomping in a line. They tried foods they had never heard of before, and list

Tokka Week 2014: Know When to Hold ‘Em
Sokka was going nowhere, but he was going there fast, so he figured it all evened out.
The train sped through the night, and with his cabin darkened, Sokka was able to watch as moonlit fields of grasses, rocks, and the occasional mix of grass and rocks together sped along. He was on one of the new trains, the kind powered not by Benders but by steam and engines and oils, and so it rattled as its wheels carried it along metal rails. Sokka didn't mind the clanking and kronking and pinging; he found the mix soothing, the regularity melting into the back of his mind and rocking him gently like a mother's arms, if mothers were steam-powered. He couldn't remember his mother anymore, steam-powered or not, but he was trying to avoid memories on this specific night. Memories used to be easy to stick behind the Black Wall in his mind, but lately he had more memories than thoughts bouncing around in his skull. It was worse even then

You were nothing more than a girl from a high-class family. Sure, you were drop dead gorgeous, sure you had a lot of money and anything you could wished for, but, that was it. You weren't a bender, you were just a seventeen year old girl. You had [hair length & color] hair and amber brown eyes, you were small. You were a shocking five foot even height, you were the smallest of all the women in your family.
Your family had ties with the Sato Automobile co. as well as being relatives to the royal line of the Fire Nation. The only benders in your family line were the men, the reason? You just thought it was genetics. But that changed when you were born. Your father was a fire bender and he married your mother, who also happened to become the only woman fire bender in your family line. When you were born and was found to be a girl, and non-bender, you became the child who disappointed everyone.
Two benders who had a non-bender child. You were a Fire Nation citizen, a daugh

Part 9 – Losing the Connection
"Wait, please don't do this! I'll give you the championship pot, I'll-I'll give you everything, just please don't take my bending!"
“Introducing the challengers, the Furture Industry’s FireFerrets! And their opponents, the three time defending champions, the WhiteFalls Wolfbats!” the announcer had shouted and the words still echoed in your head even as the gong was rang. Tahno was the first one to race forward, he headed straight for Korra and you held your breath. Korra was forced to jump back a few steps as Tahno moved to punch her with water surrounding his hand. Another stream of water was sent in Korra’s direction and it hit her squarely in the stomach. In return Mako sent fire in Ming’s direction but the earthbender simply dodges before sending his disks of earth back at the firebender, they hit his target. The match continued like this and you were forced to release th

Hello everyone. Back again it seems with a new review of the latest Korra episode. Enjoy!
What I Liked
Oh yea, this was totally an ‘Asami rocks’ episode, and by god did I love it! Let’s face it; without Asami Korra would’ve ended up right in the Earth Queen’s hands, and later on it was she who both lead the fixing of the ship and the later creation of the sand-sailors. It was her ingenuity and cunning that ultimately saved Korra and the crew on the ship several times.
I dunno about you guys, but about damn time. Asami has had her moments, but sadly she is often forced into the background which is a massive shame because she is often the best teenager character in the Legend of Korra. This however was her episode to show off and remind us just how integral she is to the team.
Enjoy this Asami. You’ll probably be forgotten next episode

Am I the only one who has noticed this?I have a question about avatar the last airbender and korra.Am I the only one who has noticed this? by RainiePandora
In avatar the first season Yue said to Sokka that water benders learned water bending from the moon and I quote "they say the first waterbenders saw how the moon pushed and pulled the water and learn to do it themselves" but in the legend of Korra season two, Korra goes back and meets the first avatar, Wan. Who tells her the story about the first avatar and how bending was indeed gifted to some people by the lion turtle of each elements.
So my question is, who is right? was avatar wen lying or was Yue guessing?? Or has the makers of avatar not thought this though?
Am I the only one who has noticed this or have I missed some info in the eps or something??
Comment and tell me!!!

Hey everyone. Here we are once again with the latest episode of Korra, now online because Nickelodeon is run by chimpanzees. Regardless, here’s my review of The Stakeout!
What I Liked
All Of The Spirits
I did enjoy seeing all of the little spirits that inhabited the area Korra was travelling in. So far the only place spirits were seen in abundance was Republic City, so seeing them inhabit this small town was a nice touch. It makes you wonder just how much more of the Earth Kingdom is housing spirits. It also makes me wonder that – with the exception of Republic City – are spirits cropping up in less urban areas since we saw none in Zaofu or Ba Sing Se? There’s a possibility.
In this episode Mako more or less took control of the whole situation. His detective skills really shined through with how he handled the search for Aiwei. He kept calm and Bolin calm when they were being followed, and he planned the stakeout of Aiwei

Legend Of Korra
Republic City is everything that Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko fought for when they ended the Hundred Year War. With balance restored to the four nations, benders and non-benders can live together in peace, in this thriving metropolitan area. But even the steampunk paradise of Republic City has its problems, as the next Avatar discovers. When Avatar Korra arrives in Republic City to master her airbending, she comes face to face with criminal bending gangs as well as members of a vocal anti-bending revolution. Before long, Korra's Avatar skills are put to the test when she encounters a group of Chi-blockers led by the charismatic and mysterious Amon, who threatens the city and all the benders in it. Despite the immense danger, Korra vows to fight the growing anti-bending revolution. But will she be able to stop Amon before he rises to power and makes his vision of a bending-free world a reality?
