Alright everybody.

This group has a lot of members. It has a lot of potential. We've held successful events in the past, but with only two people with lots of other responsibilities running the group, it can be a bit difficult to get things done sometimes. So, we are looking for some more admins.

If you wish to apply, you MUST apply to a specific position. You may apply to multiple positions if you'd like, but you may only actually hold one position (this is only to prevent you from being overwhelmed. If after a few months you think you would like to do more, and we still have open positions, you may take a second position). Please only apply if you are serious about working with us, and can commit at least an hour or two a week to the group (either all at once, or spread out with a few minutes each day). Obviously, though, this is all done on a volunteer basis, and if you find you don't enjoy it or can't commit as much time as you thought, you can leave at any time, no questions asked.

Number: 2 +

Responsibilities: To read all comics, fanfictions, and other written works that are submitted. You will make sure that these submissions are Avatar-related, do not contain mature content, and are relatively polished. In judging whether a work is polished enough, you must be able to take into account factors such as the writer's age, native language, or issues such as dyslexia. You must be okay with shipping (including same-gender pairings) and reading potentially mature content. To apply, send us a note telling us why you would like this position.

Contest Hosts

Number: 2 - 6

Responsibilities: To, with help from the founders if needed, create, host, and judge one to two contests per year. You will work in teams of 2 or 3, and so that you can participate in some contests, you will alternate. You must be able to get along with others and work out disagreements in a civil manner, you must be highly organized and have sufficient free time to host a contest, and be able to judge work based on creativity and skill of the individual rather than simply on who is the better artist. To apply, please provide us with a sample contest outlining the rules and how it would be judged in your stash OR show us a contest that you have held in the past.

Number: 1 or 2

Responsibilities: To seek out and write blogs once or twice a month about events happening in the Avatar fandom. This includes primarily announcements about official content (season premiers, game releases, etc.), but also Avatar-themed contests around dA, conventions, or anything else you can find. You must be reliably in-touch with all official announcements, be willing to watch several Avatar groups to keep up with contests and events on dA, and keep your blogs as positive as possible (no tabloid or paparazzi style blogs). To apply, please provide us with a sample report created in your stash (if you can't think of a topic, you could provide a sample report covering Korra's move from TV to online, and information about a few Avatar-themed contests happening right now).

Feature… ers?

Number: 1 or 2 +

Responsibilities: to create a feature monthly or every other month, showing the best artwork submitted to our group in the past month and/or artwork revolving around a specific theme that has been submitted to the group in the past month. If we get lots of volunteers for this position, we may run several features monthly revolving around different themes. You must be willing to feature ALL types of artwork that get accepted into the gallery. To apply, please create a sample feature in your stash and link us to it, or show us a feature that you have held regularly in the past.

Episode Discussion Leaders

Number: 1 or 2

Responsibilities: To encourage interaction and discussion amongst group members by posting a short recap/review no more than two days after an episode airs with a few talking points or discussion questions to get things going. To apply, please create a sample blog in your stash covering the most recent episode of Korra (The Stakeout).

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Only the Avatar was the master of all four elements. Only he could stop the ruthless Fire Nation from conquering the world. But when the world needed him most, he disappeared. Until now... On the South Pole, a lone Water Tribe village struggles to survive. It's here that a young Waterbender named Katara and her warrior brother Sokka rescue a strange boy named Aang from a cavernous iceberg. Not only is Aang an Airbender--a race of people no one has seen in a century--but they soon discover that Aang is also the long lost Avatar. Now it's up to Katara and Sokka to make sure Aang faces his destiny to save the tribe--and himself. Did we mention he's only 12?

:pointr::pointr: Legend Of Korra :pointl::pointl:
Republic City is everything that Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko fought for when they ended the Hundred Year War. With balance restored to the four nations, benders and non-benders can live together in peace, in this thriving metropolitan area. But even the steampunk paradise of Republic City has its problems, as the next Avatar discovers. When Avatar Korra arrives in Republic City to master her airbending, she comes face to face with criminal bending gangs as well as members of a vocal anti-bending revolution. Before long, Korra's Avatar skills are put to the test when she encounters a group of Chi-blockers led by the charismatic and mysterious Amon, who threatens the city and all the benders in it. Despite the immense danger, Korra vows to fight the growing anti-bending revolution. But will she be able to stop Amon before he rises to power and makes his vision of a bending-free world a reality?

To whom it may concern;

I wish to leave this group due to being claimed my art not having any effort put into it. My apologies for the inconveniences. But I practiced drawing and I tried my best on my art. Plus, I do not have any scanner, so I had to resort taking photos. But my extreme apologies for not being able to meet such demands.

However, I am highly offended by such claim of my art not having any effort put in. So as a result, I wish to leave this group.

Is there any folder for Digital Art / Photomanipulations? Or do I just put it in Artwork?
