BittersweetBittersweetBittersweet by DupreeRose
Tenzin had heard someone say it was a "bittersweet occasion". Though he would never say it aloud he thought that was a load of bullshit. They had only just buried his grandfather two days before and now they were having a formal ceremony to name his uncle the new Chief of the Southern Water Tribe. His grandfather was gone and now they were taking away his only uncle. It didn't seem fair.
He sat alone at the head table and watched his parents slow dance. Not like they usually did; this was lifeless and sorrowful. Neither of them were in the mood to celebrate, but they put on a good show for those who didn't know better. His father's hands laid lightly in the small of his mother's back. His mother's arms wrapped around the elder air bender, clasped onto his shirt, underneath his cape.
Suyin broke Tenzin's concentration when she ran across the dance floor to his Uncle Sokka. The new chief bowed to the girl and said something as he offered his hand to her. She

“Can you keep a secret?” the girl asked as she pulled herself up on the limb her friend was sitting on.
“Don’t I always?” the bald boy answered with an eye roll as she plopped down unceremoniously between him and the trunk of the tree.
“You can’t ever, ever tell anyone.” Lin stressed poking the side of Tenzin’s head.
He swatted her hand away “I won’t.” he scowled “Do I ever?” she placed her hands on her hips and cocked her head at him “Okay, okay. One time. I panicked. And I apologized for that. I didn’t know girls were supposed to bleed from” he gestured at his crotch awkwardly “there. I thought you needed medical attention.”
Lin’s face balled at the fresh memory of Tenzin making her sit down before running across the hill only to come back dragging his sister by the hand and demanding that she heal Lin of her <i>

The Spy Who Tolerated Me
2 Weeks After Sozin's Comet
Mai was alone in a crowd, but she was used to that.
Ember Island was always a place dedicated solely to fun, but it usually wasn't as chaotic as the scene was this evening. However, word had arrived day before that the Hundred Year War was over, and the combined forces of the Avatar, the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, and a mysterious faction called the White Lotus were surrendering. Being in the employ of those forces, specifically those White Lotus folk, Mai was aware that 'surrender' was in this case Fire Nation-talk for "agreeing to give back all the Fire Nation land they captured during their unstoppable invasion over the summer, in exchange for an end to hostilities and all the colonies being returned to the Earth Kingdom." And so a 'Freedom Festival' was being held all across the island.
The Fire Nation was not famous for its grasp on reality.
A mask hid Mai's face from view, just like
Korra's Broken SpiritMy father walks over to meKorra's Broken Spirit by ScratStitch
"Korra, you should go inside"
I thought that he had killed him
But I was the one who died
He wheels me around gently
"Korra, you're going to be okay"
I want to tell him how grateful I am
But there is nothing I can say
My other father walks over to me
"Korra, you're going to be fine"
He's a man who I owe everything
For his spirit is nothing like mine
He speaks very highly of a ghost
"Avatar Korra saved the day!"
I want to tell him that he is the hero
But there is nothing I can say
My friend walks over to me
"Korra, you beat him by a mile!"
He tries to cheer me up with a joke
But the dead are unable to smile
He doesn't know how gone I am
"Korra, you're going to be okay"
I want to tell him how strong he is
But there is nothing I can say
He walks over to me
"Korra, I know you'll be fine"
He's put a shield around himself
So his spirit won't break like mine
I know how badly he wants to help
He comes here every day
He tries to give me comfort
But there is nothing he
Top 20 Moments of Avatar: The Last AirbenderIn my opinion, Avatar: The Last Airbender of one of the greatest animated series' of all time. I was only around 12 years old when it premiered (same age as the show's main antagonist!) But I don't think I'll ever forget how much I loved this story. Here is a list of my top 20 favorite moments from the series.Top 20 Moments of Avatar: The Last Airbender by TKDshadow

Episode: The Cave of Two Lovers
Chong: "Yeah it's no use. We're separated. But at least you have us, heh heh."
Aang, Katara and Sokka decide to take a shortcut through a labyrinth like cave and there's no turning back when a rock slide leaves them trapped and unable to get out the same way they got in. But team Avatar is not alone. They are also joined by a group of easygoing traveling musicians who's philosophies and life perspectives contradict Sokka's attitude about getting to Omashu as efficiently as possible without distractions. But being stuck in a dark cave with these guys isn't s

Hello everyone. Back again it seems with a new review of the latest Korra episode. Enjoy!
What I Liked
Oh yea, this was totally an ‘Asami rocks’ episode, and by god did I love it! Let’s face it; without Asami Korra would’ve ended up right in the Earth Queen’s hands, and later on it was she who both lead the fixing of the ship and the later creation of the sand-sailors. It was her ingenuity and cunning that ultimately saved Korra and the crew on the ship several times.
I dunno about you guys, but about damn time. Asami has had her moments, but sadly she is often forced into the background which is a massive shame because she is often the best teenager character in the Legend of Korra. This however was her episode to show off and remind us just how integral she is to the team.
Enjoy this Asami. You’ll probably be forgotten next episode

Am I the only one who has noticed this?I have a question about avatar the last airbender and korra.Am I the only one who has noticed this? by RainiePandora
In avatar the first season Yue said to Sokka that water benders learned water bending from the moon and I quote "they say the first waterbenders saw how the moon pushed and pulled the water and learn to do it themselves" but in the legend of Korra season two, Korra goes back and meets the first avatar, Wan. Who tells her the story about the first avatar and how bending was indeed gifted to some people by the lion turtle of each elements.
So my question is, who is right? was avatar wen lying or was Yue guessing?? Or has the makers of avatar not thought this though?
Am I the only one who has noticed this or have I missed some info in the eps or something??
Comment and tell me!!!

Hey everyone. Here we are once again with the latest episode of Korra, now online because Nickelodeon is run by chimpanzees. Regardless, here’s my review of The Stakeout!
What I Liked
All Of The Spirits
I did enjoy seeing all of the little spirits that inhabited the area Korra was travelling in. So far the only place spirits were seen in abundance was Republic City, so seeing them inhabit this small town was a nice touch. It makes you wonder just how much more of the Earth Kingdom is housing spirits. It also makes me wonder that – with the exception of Republic City – are spirits cropping up in less urban areas since we saw none in Zaofu or Ba Sing Se? There’s a possibility.
In this episode Mako more or less took control of the whole situation. His detective skills really shined through with how he handled the search for Aiwei. He kept calm and Bolin calm when they were being followed, and he planned the stakeout of Aiwei

Legend Of Korra
Republic City is everything that Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko fought for when they ended the Hundred Year War. With balance restored to the four nations, benders and non-benders can live together in peace, in this thriving metropolitan area. But even the steampunk paradise of Republic City has its problems, as the next Avatar discovers. When Avatar Korra arrives in Republic City to master her airbending, she comes face to face with criminal bending gangs as well as members of a vocal anti-bending revolution. Before long, Korra's Avatar skills are put to the test when she encounters a group of Chi-blockers led by the charismatic and mysterious Amon, who threatens the city and all the benders in it. Despite the immense danger, Korra vows to fight the growing anti-bending revolution. But will she be able to stop Amon before he rises to power and makes his vision of a bending-free world a reality?
